The 505 kilometers from Xi'an, Zhengzhou High-speed rail starts

The 505 kilometers from Xi'an, Zhengzhou High-speed rail, cut the first of its kind in central and western China, the travel time between the two cities over six hours in two hours, the local railway authorities said Saturday .

The first train left Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province and Zhengzhou clock at 10:50, reached the capital of the province of Henan, at 1:15 hours,  said Long Jing, head of the Office of Rail Xi annually.

The train was traveling 350 kilometers per hour, Long said. A total of 14 trains traveling between Zhengzhou and Xi'an Daily  said Long.

The first train from Zhengzhou to Xi'an grew from Zhengzhou to Xi'an at 11:25 a.m. and arrived at 2:01 pm, said Niu Jianfeng, a representative of the Office of Zhengzhou Railway.

The Zhengzhou Xi'an high speed railway, included in the  country of intermediate and long-term railway network plan,  the 25 built in September 2005 with the volume of investment of about 35.31 billion yuan (US $) 5 , 17 billion, said Niu.

The high Zhengzhou Xi'an high-speed rail will meet the increasing demand of passenger traffic and goods in central and western China, and promote local development,  said Wang Yongping, spokesman of the Ministry of Railways iron.

Henan is one of the largest producers of grain and China an emerging economic power and industrial sectors. The most populous province of China is also a major tourist attraction with many sites of historical and cultural interest. Shaanxi has abundant cultural resources and is endowed with rich natural resources like coal, oil and natural gas.

The country as a whole rail is over 110,000 miles in 2012 and 120,000 miles in 2020, a 'medium and long term railway network plan.

In 2012, it took less than eight hours to travel by train from Beijing to most provincial capitals in China,  said Long.
