China's fiscal revenue for last December reached 508.4 billion yuan

Tax revenue of China in December last year reached 508.4 billion yuan (74.45 billion) announced by 55.8 percent compared to last year, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) Tuesday.

Of total tax revenue of 183.1 billion central yuan, increased by 140 percent since December 2008, while local governments 325.3 billion yuan, up 30.2 percent of the sample, Ministry of Finance said in a statement published in official website.

The ministry has led to increased sales on a strong basis for the relatively low compared to December 2008, the increase in tax increases on consumption after the oil tax and fee reform and strengthen the strong increase in corporate tax national housing market.

Total tax revenues last year exceeded 6.85 trillion yuan, up 11.7 percent from 2008, the statement said.
