Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the United States to familiarize them with the partner than in the Sino-US relations. If there are problems between the two countries, China has reacted with restraint. This restriction has been found following the U.S. bombing the Chinese embassy in Yugoslavia in 1999 and the Bush administration announced its decision to sell arms to Taiwan in 2008.

However, changing times. When the U.S. announced last weapons to Taiwan, Beijing has shown a stronger and faster response decisions. In a parallel response range of ministries including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, the National People's Congress and CPPCC held military exchanges, the sanctions against U.S. companies and warned against non-nuclear cooperation issues in relation to Iran and North Korea.
China believes that to allow time for the U.S. feels pain at the deterioration of relations between China and the United States.

A change in the attitude of China is irrevocable by the Sino-US relations will develop more equitable. Role of China in world affairs is becoming more politically and economically. In 2009, over 50% of world economic growth of China participated. China has become a dominant element in almost all major international issues, including recovery of global climate change and the Iranian nuclear capability.

As the largest creditor and largest trading partner, China is also necessary for the United States. Now that the international importance of China and increase its influence with the United States, it is desirable to maintain the initial imbalance of China-US relations.

Public opinion is stronger on the strong reaction from the Chinese government. The 2008 Olympics and the remarkable growth of China (to attract 8.7%), a strong sense of pride and patriotism throughout the country, the Chinese people more susceptible to compromise the fundamental national interests. We see millions of Internet offers support violent reactions from the Chinese government.

It is obvious that maintaining a healthy and stable Sino-US relations are essential to U.S. interests globally and nationally. For this reason, the United States must recognize and understand, to take on China's desire in a relationship of equality, before any action.
